EDIT: I got a ship confirmation. Perhaps this whole thing is a one-off, but it seems a bit too inconvenient to ship four hours after I emailed to ask about my order status. Hopefully the products are good quality, and it's worth the wait.

Have a Cayman S and some other Porsches. I was assigned a number, though. I went and ordered some magnetic numbers on the 28th of May. This shop custom makes your order, so I expect it to be some time (Why I ordered so early). It's now a week before my event (where you need to have the numbers), and I don't have a ship date or know if I'll even have them in time.

I've sent two emails to the shop, but I haven't gotten a reply back. I just want a more updated ship date beyond "We are backed up, so we might be a few days late in shipping beyond our standard lead time of up to 5 days". Because we are now on business day 11.

It is apparently a difficult request to actually talk to your customers. Because it might just be that the USPS lost the mailing tube, but I don't know that because I don't have a ship confirmation.

I mean, it's not expensive, but they have other stuff I eventually want, so I was trying to do a test order (and some of the stuff I can get locally, and I already have a shop who has said "I can do it by tomorrow morning").

I guess I could take to Twitter or Facebook instead of email. I want to support small businesses, but it's more of a "Please help me help you help us all".

And it's not the money either. It's more of the principle of the matter.

I have an order confirmation, and I probably could get the phone number if I call AmEx and wait on hold with them. (They show Merchant Address and name on their online statement)

I buy vinyl stickers. the magnetic numbers come off at around 70-80mph. I just buy new every time. only costs $30 and you get to change it up every time.
